1. What Aumos is

Aumos is a desktop application you install on your own computer. It runs investment methodologies — "managers" — against portfolios you describe, records every judgement they make, and asks you to approve anything that would reach a broker. untilled operates the website and the download and catalogue endpoints; it does not operate the application, which runs entirely on your machine.

There is no account. You do not register, and there is nothing to log in to.

2. Aumos is not investment advice

Nothing Aumos or a manager produces is investment advice, a recommendation, or a solicitation to buy or sell any financial instrument. A manager produces a proposal; you decide whether to act on it, and no order is ever sent without your explicit approval.

Every investment decision you make is yours, and so is every consequence of it. Past results — including any figures published on this site — say nothing about future returns.

3. What you are responsible for

Using Aumos means taking on the following, and they are not shared:

• Your broker credentials, the orders you approve, and the money they move.
• Your own subscription to the command-line coding assistant Aumos drives (Claude Code, Codex or another), including its provider's terms and any cost it incurs.
• The managers you install. A package from the catalogue may be written by anybody; its methodology is theirs, and running one is your choice.
• Backing up your own data. The store is a file on your machine and nobody else has a copy.
• Complying with the laws that apply to you, including any that govern trading in your jurisdiction.

4. Third parties

Aumos connects to services you already have accounts with — brokers, data vendors, and the command-line coding assistant it drives. Those relationships are between you and them, under their terms. Aumos holds their credentials on your machine in order to make the requests you asked for, and is not a party to your agreement with them.

5. No warranty, and what that means here

Aumos is provided as it is, with no warranty of any kind. It is early software: it can be wrong, it can fail to run, and a defect in it can cost you money through an order you approved on the strength of what it showed you.

To the fullest extent the law allows, untilled is not liable for trading losses, missed opportunities, or any indirect or consequential damage arising from your use of Aumos. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

6. Price

Aumos is free to download and use, and there is nothing to pay for. If that ever changes, it changes for versions released afterwards and is stated before anybody is charged.

7. Changes to these terms

These terms can change. The version on this page is the current one and carries the date it last did, and a change that materially affects you is announced on this site rather than only published.
